Lyme Disease
|
My Story
My story is very long and involved because I was bit by a tick for the first time when I was 12 year's old.....
(1960) So I won't bore you with all that I have been through but I would like to inform people about lyme disease and the effects it has on you...
Lyme Disease can develop into a very serious and excruciating disease if not heeded to and taken care of right away.....so please....if you or anyone you know and love ever get's bit by a tick, the first thing to do is to GENTLY TWIST the little critter out with tweezers...
A deer tick is no bigger than a pinhead so check yourself and children thoroughly after being outside..... especially if you have been in the woods...don't touch the tick but put it
in a plastic bag with the tweezers and seal the bag....as soon as you can, get
it to a lab to be tested for Lyme because if the tick has lyme, it usually mean's that you will have lyme...BUT early prevention can be a life saver.....Believe me!!! So get to the Doc a.s.a.p...
The initial symptoms include extreme continual tiredness, achey joints, headache that won't go away, stiffness,
swelling in knee's, hands, feet or anywhere else.......depression, moodiness...
If not treated immediately, the Lyme
can effect every single cell in your entire body which can result in death or
misery.....and I mean misery....
